Nemo opened 2019 last week with their outstanding exhibition Roadmap. Held at the Park Royal Hotel, Warrington on the 10th January, Roadmap guided vendor partners and members through their plans for the year ahead.
Kicking off with a superstar keynote, attendees gained an insight into best practice management from experienced business coach, Rob Vale. Rob discussed the art of change and how to create a competitive advantage, whilst focusing on “the high cost of doing nothing”.
An innovative flip catalogue
Scott Woodward, Marketing Manager officially launched the 2019 Workplace Solutions catalogue, to great cheer. This year with an innovative flip-based publication, allowing Members to present a different catalogue to traditional or facilities buyers.
Launching bespoke marketing
Returning Sammy Bartley, Merchandising Manager, revealed Nemo’s tailored marketing programme. Members get access to marketing collateral and resources to sell their USP and services through an effective plan.
More relevant to Members
Nemo’s Roadmap followed, with Tim Beaumont introducing the groups plan for the year ahead and new initiatives. Key takeaways being; becoming more relevant to Members, offering tailored programmes, continuing to develop innovative solutions for Nemo, culling ‘me too’ contracts and focussing on dealer quality in recruitment.
Charismatic Chairman, Michael Morgan challenged delegates to think about their 2019 goals, putting plans in place and meeting those targets.
A packed exhibition
After the business session, delegates then made their way through to a outstanding exhibition, where suppliers displayed new products and services in a packed room of 44 exhibitors.
There was plenty of activity around the stands. One lucky Nemo Member – JM Business Supplies winning a fantastic Canon Powershot digital camera worth £300, from paper merchant Ovendens much to the delight of Jonathan and Marie.
Dedicated and proactive
CTS Toners commented ‘we find Nemo a dedicated and proactive partner’. Whilst Snopake praised the exhibition as ‘a great opportunity to launch new products and advise on sales techniques’.
Finishing off in style
Nemo then thanked delegates with the legendary Chinese meal, Derek Bamford and his stand-up routine seeing the night off in fashion!
