NEMOs’ annual Catalogue Launch last week gave both vendors and the ever increasing NEMO membership excellent opportunities to discuss new products, showcase future plans and launch the award winning, Office Style catalogue.

Returning to the Hallmark Hotel, Manchester, NEMO presented their plans for sustaining and building on their exceptional growth gained last year. Tim Beaumont, NEMO MD gave a look back in review to suppliers and members:

‘2014 was a strong year for NEMO. We achieved an amazing 78% growth in membership, increased contracts in vertical markets and added extra services for members. We got our share of awards too; finalists at the BOSS awards for ‘Reseller Marketing Excellence’, which we won last year, and of course winning the ‘Catalogue of the Year Under £5m Award.’

We have also been nominated as European Dealer Group of the Year at the EOPA Awards in March. We believe these awards truly recognise the great year we have all worked hard to deliver.’

Tim summarised ‘We are very enthusiastic about 2015. We are focused on continuing to grow the membership, explaining our unique group structure to independent dealers and helping our existing members’ make the most of new opportunities.’

NEMO showcased a short, humorous clip at the beginning of the business session, truly capturing the ethos of the group – together we’re stronger.

Tim’s presentation was followed by the Catalogue Launch and Exhibition; which gave vendors the opportunity to display new products and for NEMO to showcase the 2015 version of the Office Style catalogue.

Vendors were guided through the improvements made to the catalogue; rising to 532 pages and featuring over 10,000 products. The catalogue has a very creative, ‘Office Town’ theme, which has been adopted across many of the NEMO publications. The theme has already received great feedback from those who attended.

Gina Smith, Dealer Group Director of Spicers reflected on the event, ‘We always get such positive engagement from NEMO. This year was no different, an ideal location and venue plus the excellent co-ordination from the NEMO team meant that as always NEMO members fully support the event.

Great kick start to the year, all followed by fabulous entertainment, giving everyone the chance to celebrate another success for NEMO.’

The night ended with NEMOs’ legendary Chinese meal, including Derek Bamford’s famous stand-up routine, where the NEMO staff, members and management thanked the vendors for their continued support.

Stuart Colley, Regional Sales Manager for Antalis Limited summarised the event saying, ‘as always the event went like clockwork. It was great that there was such a high turnout from the members and the entertainment provided by Derek was priceless.’
