Another record broken – NEMO’s recent January Catalogue launch proved a great success, with a record number of 60 Vendors attending. NEMO members were out in force on the day, meeting with suppliers giving both excellent opportunities to discuss hot new products and future plans.
Hosted at a new location, the stunning Shrigley Hall hotel, near Macclesfield, proved to be the perfect location, with excellent exhibition facilities, grand views and high class accommodation. Adrian Butler of VOW commented ‘Great new venue. There was a constant flow of members onto our stand. We found the whole event very positive’.
New also this year, NEMO invited the Stagg group to join the exhibition. Both NEMO and Stagg are members of the Nexus group. Tim Beaumont, MD of NEMOsaid ‘Being part of NEXUS brings a whole new dimension to our offering’. Hosting both groups in the same location, demonstrated to vendors how they could work with the Nexus groups and the co-operation between the groups showcased the true core of NEMO’s strength and perfectly captured their theme for 2013, ‘together we’re stronger’.
To start the proceeding vendors were presented with NEMO’s plans for 2013, Tim Beaumont, MD commented, ‘2012 was a strong year for NEMO with membership growth and innovation and we aim to continue on that path this year’. Tim guided vendors through the 2013 Catalogue, highlighting its increases in size, extended sections for Education, IT, furniture, and increases in the number of sku’s in NEMO’s annual publication.
The striking theme for this year received great praise from member and vendor alike, with the ‘World of Office Style’ theme bringing a humorous touch to the catalogue and a theme that will be extended to other marketing offerings from NEMO.

The night ended with NEMO’s legendary Chinese meal, with Derek Bamford, toasting the vendors on behalf of NEMO, and Gordon Moore from DAMS, toasting on behalf of the vendors.
